Scheduling Using Later's iOS and Android Apps

Schedule Multi-Photo posts using Later on the web or Later’s iOS and Android apps.

Important:

  • Multi-Photo posts are only available on paid plans.
  • Due to Instagram limitations Multi-Photo posts can only be published through Later's mobile notifications. Auto publish is not available.
  • Multi-Photo posts can be scheduled from both Later on the web and the Later apps.

What you can include in a single Multi-Photo post:

  • Instagram: up to 10 photos and videos
  • Twitter: up to 4 photos, or 1 GIF, or 1 video
  • Facebook: up to 10 photos, or 1 GIF, or 1 video

Scheduling Using Later on the Web

Step 1: Select your images

  1. Go to Later on the web.
  2. Go to the Calendar and make sure the right profile is selected.
  3. In your side library, check off one or more media items for your Multi-Photo post.
  4. Drag the media items to your Calendar or click Multi-Photo Post to schedule.

Step 2: Edit your Multi-Photo post

  1. Write a caption for your Multi-Photo post.
  2. Rearrange media items by dragging them around.
  3. Hit Edit on individual media items to crop them and add filters.
  4. Change the scheduled date and time.
  5. Hit Save.

Important: Instagram requires all photos and videos to be the same crop (square, landscape, or portrait). If they’re not the same, Instagram will automatically crop all photos to the ratio of the first image.

Note: You can’t tag users or locations when scheduling a Multi-Photo post, but you can add these tags when publishing the post.

Note: Once a Multi-Photo post has been scheduled, you won't be able to add or remove photos from that post.
